Eagles Mere (Penn.) – Eagles Mere is hosting its 49 th annual antiques market on Saturday,
July 6 th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place on the Village Green, on the corner of
Route 42 and Pennsylvania Avenue, across the street from the iconic Sweet Shop.
The market is a public event, with a $7 admission fee, free for children under the age of 12. Ticket proceeds support Eagles Mere non-profit organizations including the Eagles Mere Conservancy, which helps keep the Village Green looking pristine.
Within the heart of the town, the Village Green will host nearly 30 booths showcasing
antiques dealers, artists and food vendors from every corner of the state. Guests can expect to see
one-of-a-kind treasures, clothing, jewelry and other vintage items. Offering a vibrant
marketplace, brewing with live entertainment and music for visitors while you shop.
Furthermore, the numerous Village Shops and museums will be open. The restaurants
offer a tempting array of food and dining options including farm-fresh produce, homemade food
and desserts, specialty coffees and ice cream! The shops offer gift options, housewares, art and
miscellaneous items. Museums are located in town and three and a half miles northeast on Rt 42.
Here, guests can learn the history of the town & railroad, vintage airplanes, cars and
motorcycles. For those interested in renting or buying property within Eagles Mere or
surrounding area, the real estate office will also be open.
Eagles Mere is located among the Endless Mountain range in Pennsylvania along Rt 42
in Sullivan County; six miles from Route 220, Muncy Vally or Laporte. With the view of its
pristine lake, countless museums, shopping and dining options, Eagles Mere is a picture-perfect
