52nd Annual Arts and Crafts Festival, Hosted by the Eagles Mere Historic Village

Eagles Mere is hosting its 52nd Annual Arts and Crafts Festival beginning on Saturday, August 12th, and running through Sunday, August 13th . The festival will run from 10 a.m to 5 p.m on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The event will take place at two different locations: the Village Green on the corner of PA-42 and Pennsylvania Ave, across the street from the iconic Sweet Shop, and Merritt Field Airport, which is 2 1/2 miles east of town.

Guests can expect more various juried exhibitors and vendors, where they can purchase or order
an array of personalized crafts, food items, jewelry, artwork and furniture for themselves, or any occasion
including birthdays, weddings, holidays, or a “just because”.

Shoppers will also enjoy good food and live music while shopping. In addition to the festival, the
Village Shops will be open offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with farm fresh foods, homemade
desserts, ice cream, specialty coffees, jewelry, houseware, and miscellaneous items. Real estate offices are also open for attendees who are interested in renting or buying in the Eagles Mere area.

The festival is open to the public and is free for children 12 and under. There is a $5 admission
fee for teenagers and adults. The admission fees for Merritt Field Museums may vary. Ticket proceeds
benefit the Eagles Mere non-profit organizations that assist with the events and the Eagles Mere
Conservancy for the upkeep of the village green.

Tucked away in the endless mountain regions of Pennsylvania, Eagles Mere is located along PA-

Sullivan County Gets First Electric Vehicle Charging Station for Public Use in Eagles Mere

The Eagles Mere Village Green is now home to a brand new ChargePoint Electric Vehicle (EV)
charging port. Located in the parking lot adjacent to the Village Green, visitors and residents
alike can use this station as it is compatible with nearly every brand of electronic vehicle.

Eagles Mere’s charging station marks the first public EV charging station in all of Sullivan
County, PA, and will surely be much appreciated by those travelers who make their way to our
beautiful mountaintop retreat. The port is easy to operate and even allows for hands-free
credit card payment.

To use, simply download the ChargePoint app (available on iOS and Android), create or log into
an account, and use your phone to begin your charging session.

48th Annual Antiques Market Slated for July 1 in Eagles Mere

Eagles Mere (PA) – Eagles Mere is hosting its 48th Annual Antiques Market on Saturday, July 1st from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will take place on the Village Green, located on the corner of PA-42 and Pennsylvania Avenue, across the street from the iconic Sweet Shop.

The market will offer a variety of unique antique dealers from around the state, each selling authentic antiques ranging from one-of-a-kind trinkets to furniture, home decorations, and more. Market-goers will also be able to enjoy delicious food and live music while browsing the various antiques dealers’ collections. In addition to the festival, several Village shops and eateries will be open offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with farm fresh foods, homemade desserts, ice cream, specialty coffees, jewelry, housewares, and other miscellaneous items. For those looking to rent or buy in the Eagles Mere area, the real estate offices will also be open for interested prospects.

The antique market will be open to the public and is free for children 12 and under. There is a $5.00 admission fee for anyone over the age of 12. Second Annual Garden Market Returns to Eagles Mere

The Shops of Eagles Mere Historical Village is hosting its Second Annual Garden Market on Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Garden Mart is open to the public and will be the first of four events hosted throughout the summer.

This year’s event, which kicks off Father’s Day weekend in downtown Eagles Mere, will feature a collection of plants, herbs and vegetables, baskets, jewelry, nature-inspired arts and crafts, wine and cider tastings, live music and much more.

Eagles Mere 44th Annual Summer Antiques Market

The Village Green in Eagles Mere will be the site for the 44th Annual Summer Antiques Market. Rain or shine, the event is set to take place on Saturday July 7th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Summer Antiques Market will feature up to 40 antique dealers from around the state, as well as New Jersey and Delaware, selling unique, one-of-a-kind items. Market goers will enjoy food and live music while browsing the wares of the antique dealers. Plus, local Village shops will be opens for continued shopping afterward. Admission into the Antique Market is $5 and free for children under the age of 12.

Eagles Mere 1st Annual Garden Market

The Shops of Eagles Mere Historic Village will be the site for the 1st Annual Garden Market. The event is taking place on Saturday, June 16th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Numerous vendors will be in the main parking lot, main porch, and on the street selling locally made goods for your home and garden ranging from live plants to outdoor furniture. The Farmers Market will be open and stocked with local food and produce. Food will be available at the Sweet Shop and the Eagles Mere Country Store as well.

Don’t miss live music by Marshall Azad and Kat Holdren in the morning followed by Joe and Lorraine Feola in the afternoon. Enjoy local wineries Lopez and Purple Cow, and local hard cider makers Deep Roots and Kilarney. Also, be sure to catch the Museum’s talk on “Gardening to Attract Birds and Butterflies” from 1 to 2 p.m.
